The guide was assigned to Bell Zettifar and Burryaga Agaburry (pictured) on Ronaphaven.
A guide lived on the agricultural planet Ronaphaven during the High Republic Era.[1] In 228 BBY,[2] a Ronaphaven governor gave Jedi Knights Bell Zettifar and Burryaga Agaburry a landspeeder for their investigation into Drengir—a type of sentient, carnivorous plant—on the world, sending the guide with the pair to assist them.[1]
The guide followed the Jedi into a deep sinkhole created by a Drengir. They slowly fell behind the Jedi, eventually calling out to Agaburry when he hastened his pace sharply. After discovering evidence of the blight affliction, evidenced by ashy gray disintegration of their surroundings, Zettifar and Agaburry left Ronaphaven to report their findings.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The guide appeared in the 2024 novel Temptation of the Force, written by Tessa Gratton and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[3]

- ↑ Star Wars: Timelines dates Starlight Beacon's destruction to 230 BBY. The implementation of the Guardian Protocols, which Star Wars: The High Republic Character Encyclopedia places in 229 BBY, took place one week after Starlight Beacon's fall according to The High Republic: Shadows of Starlight 1. As The High Republic: Temptation of the Force takes place one year and six weeks after the destruction of Starlight Beacon and its events span a few months, its events must be set in 228 BBY.
