"Halt! Turn! Ready arms!"
―The Imperial officer, to his clone troopers[1]

A human male Imperial officer served on the planet Ferrix around 18 BBY. As an officer, he commanded a regiment of clone troopers, and called for them to a halt when protesters pelted rocks at the Imperial forces as they marched through a town on Ferrix. In retaliation, he ordered the last rank of troopers to turn and take aim on the civilians, including Clem Andor. Andor was hanged soon after, despite being innocent.

Biography[]

During the rise of the Galactic Empire, an Imperial officer commanded[1] a regiment[3] of clone troopers on the planet Ferrix in the Free Trade sector of the galaxy.[1]

Sometime in 18 BBY,[4] several Ferrix residents protested the clone[1] regiment's[3] presence in the business center's Rix Road by signaling their support for the Galactic Republic and a "free Ferrix." However, when some of the protestors began pelting the troops with stones, the Imperial officer ordered the clones to halt and hold the town's residents at gunpoint, including Clem Andor who did not participate in the protest. Nevertheless, Andor was executed by hanging in the town square.[1]

Personality and traits[]

The Imperial officer was a human male with light skin, brown hair, and a neatly trimmed moustache. He did not tolerate dissent, and was fully willing to have his troops hold civilians at gunpoint.[1]

Equipment[]

The officer wore a black uniform with black waterproof layer.[1] He wore a rank insignia plaque with four blue squares.[2]

  4. "Announcement" takes place shortly after "Kassa," which dates itself to 5 BBY. In the episode, Maarva Andor says she has avoided the square on Rix Road for 13 years due to Clem Andor's death, meaning he must have died in circa 18 BBY.
