A Mikkian female was the older sister of the Mikkian male Treze who lived during the High Republic Era. At some point, the two and their family joined the Path of the Open Hand cult on the Outer Rim planet. Eventually, Treze's sister decided to leave the Path, despite the group's efforts to persuade her to stay, believing that the planet was not enough for her. In 382 BBY, the Evereni Path member Yana Ro planned to leave the cult as well, and recalled the time Treze's sister had left the Path.
Biography[]
A Mikkian female lived during the High Republic Era. At some point, she gained a younger Mikkian brother named Treze.[1] By 382 BBY,[2] the female, Treze, and their family joined a cult known as the Path of the Open Hand, which was based in a compound on the Outer Rim planet Dalna. The Evereni Path member Yana Ro later stated that Treze often joked that the family had joined the group to avoid their debts.[1]
At some point during her time in the Path, Treze's older sister concluded that Dalna was not enough for her and that she wanted a life anywhere but the planet, therefore deciding to leave the group. The Mikkian then sat in the middle of the compound's gathering field for a number of days, while each of the Path's Elders, parents, Littles, and initiates attempted to persuade her to see reason and stay with the cult. Ro saw the attempts made to convince her to stay. Ultimately, they all failed to persuade Treze's older sister to remain, and she left Dalna.[1]
In 382 BBY,[2] Ro, who herself desired to leave the Path, mentally noted that the group did not like deserters and that once it became known she wanted to leave, the Path's members would try to make her stay. The Evereni then added that she had only seen this practice in action once before, recalling the time Treze's older sister had decided to leave the cult. The Evereni noted that she—like Treze's sister—believed Dalna was not enough for her.[1]
Personality and traits[]
While a member of the Path of the Open Hand, Treze's older sister came to believe that she wanted a life away from Dalna, believing it was not enough for her. In spite of the attempts by a significant number of the group's members to make her see otherwise, the Mikkian stuck to her view and eventually left the Path and Dalna.[1]
