- "My Maker, whoever that enlightened being was, customized my TranLang III comms module for direct connection to my AA-1 VerboBrain."
- ―C-3PO, to a Autonomous Translator Module, Mark II
The TranLang III communication module, also known as the TranLang III communications package, was a droid component used for communication. Protocol droid models such as the 3PO-series protocol droid had the TranLang III module installed.[1]
The Tranlang could allow a protocol droid to speak six to seven million forms of communication. By the time of the First Order-Resistance War, C-3PO had upgraded his TranLang III communications packet to increase his language fluency to over seven million forms of communication.[3] C-3PO once tried to speak to the tauntaun Murra with a loud, grating squawk but was unsuccessful.[4]
