"What about 'The Silent Circle?' I've always loved that one. Or 'The Curse of the Nameless.' That'll keep you up at night…"
―Thom Hudd[1]

"The Silent Circle" was a story known to the thief and Rebel Alliance lieutenant Thom Hudd. While being tortured by the Sith attendant Vaneé on Mustafar, Hudd attempted to distract his captor by telling the tale, stating that he had always loved the story. Vaneé, however, had no interest in Hudd's stories and prepared to execute him.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

"The Silent Circle" was first mentioned in Star Wars Adventures: Return to Vader's Castle 4, a comic book written by Cavan Scott and published by IDW Publishing[1] on October 23, 2019.[2] The story was later revealed for the first time in the Galaxy's Edge edition of the book Myths & Fables by George Mann.[3]
