Saesee Tiin[]

Hold up, I thought that Jesse Jensen (spelled wrong, sorry) played Saesee Tiin. What's up it says Kane what ever his name is played him. Please respond soon.BobafettH23 20:29, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

Opening Crawl Differences[]

All movies have 2 sentences in the first paragraph except RotJ has 1 sentence and RotS has 4 (if War! is counted). All movies have 1 sentence in paragraphs 2 and 3. I've noted this in talk for all movies. -- anon, I'll register if I post again. 12:20 EST, December 28, 2006

Edit on Blu-Ray?[]

Since the films are being re-released on Blu-ray, and ep1 Yoda is gonne be digital, do you think Lucasfilm will make the Nemoidian with Nute ACTUALLY look and sound like Rune? I'm hoping so... It's very confusing... Unsigned comment by Pizza the Hutt (talk • contribs).

  • I don't want to bring the HD war into the discussion but Lucas chose DVD after it was common place and LucasFilm did in fact issue a statement saying that they had no plans to release on either format. My guess is that they will wait until one format has won so expect at lest a year to go by before anything will happen. Bioevil087 (Mara’s Ex)Jedi Order 09:00, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

Stone Mites[]

Um, where do stone mites and druacrete slugs appear in the film?JustinGann 05:07, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

  • What the stink, there are NOT Thakwaash in the movie, what are they talking about!JustinGann 01:53, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
    • I think I found one. In the alley were Zam was shot, look at the junk closely. I think that it's a stone mite on the garbage can-thingy. And for Thakwaashi, a Jedi bust in the distance looks like a horse head. Not the Bothan, look further. And I think the unknown "Zeltron on a Hologram" is on of the Holosigns in the nightclub street, whatever it is called.--Endor chicken 76.2.24.183

R5-D4?[]

How come it's mentioned in the characters while there's nothing about it on its page (or just the title)?... Could someone tell me where it appears in AotC?... Klow 15:58, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

Bumping there Head[]

Attentive viewers will notice that Jango Fett, upon boarding Slave I on Kamino, bumps his head audibly on the doorway. This is a nod to the Stormtrooper who bumps his head on the Death Star in A New Hope (which was also given a sound effect in the 2004 DVD release), the implication being that Fett has passed on this particular trait to his future clones.

If I remeber right in Battle Front II it say that during the time on the Death Star they were using more then just Jango's DNA so it could be a different clone. Lord Titze 11:26, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

The fireplace scene as an example of bad editing?[]

"In addition, the fireplace scene between the two lovers that takes place about halfway through the film is often cited as an example of egregiously poor editing."

I think this needs an explanation. I cannot see what's the problem with the scene. Why is it bad that it's in the middle of the movie? - TopAce (Talk) 19:28, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

Galactic Civil War craft in AOTC?[]

Ok, in the x-wing page, it says there is a non canon appearance of an x wing in AOTC. Additionally, why is a yt1300 freighter listed in the vehicles? Ive also heard rumors that theres several long shots of the Delta 7 where it appears to be an A wing, and a few where salve one is mis colored so it appears similar to Boba's version. Can someone confirm or deny these, and/or post any pictures. Thanks. 71.33.34.140 01:56, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

  • As an "easter-egg" in AOTC during the speeder chase, off in the distance you can see an X-wing chasing a TIE fighter. As to the YT-1300s, They can be seen docked at the spaceport when Padmé and Anakin's freighter arrives on Naboo. The YT-1300 isn't a Galactic Civil War craft. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 12:34, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Reference to the Original Trilogy doubled?[]

Two entries of this section speak of the same similarity:

"The hero hides from an enemy in an asteroid field. Obi-Wan hides from Jango Fett (Attack of the Clones), and Han Solo and others in the Millennium Falcon hide from the Imperial fleet (The Empire Strikes Back). Furthermore, Boba Fett is present in both situations, and the second time around, he succeeds in following the Falcon, obviously learned from his past mistakes."

"Obi-Wan attaches his ship to an asteroid to evade Jango Fett. In The Empire Strikes Back, Han Solo lands the Millennium Falcon on the conning tower of the Avenger to evade the Imperial fleet. "

Trivia: "Neo"[]

One of the geonosians in the arena can be heard yelling Neo! This has happened at least once in all the other prequel movies. Someone said that people who worked on the matrix trilogy also worked in the star wars prequels. I don't know if that last statement is true or not but someone definitely yells neo during the arena fight scene at the end of the movie. --155.31.210.39 01:05, February 1, 2010 (UTC)

Music question....[]

Does anyone know the name of the song that is played during the ILM Visual Effects Breakdown Montage of the special features on the DVD?

CRC-09/571[]

CRC-09/571 is listed as having his first appearance in this movie as a Legends character. I cannot find him mentioned in the script or in the list of characters on the Internet Movie Database. His name also in not in the movie's novelization. What is the source for his appearance? Red Heathen (talk) 21:37, August 25, 2020 (UTC)

Legends and Canon diff, or Unreliable Article?[]

Almost three years since my previous question, and I'm back. In Appearances, why is there a list for Legends and another list for Canon in each category? This movie and all that is in it is canon. How can a character be listed under Legends but not under canon? Were these lists populated with non-AOTC movie sources? After looking at this more closely, I'm beginning to think so, which would make this article grossly inaccurate and unreliable. My previous question above falls into this one. Where did all the clone names (alphanumeric) come from? Red Heathen (talk) 00:31, 7 April 2023 (UTC)

  • Hi there! Attack of the Clones is part of both the Canon and Legends continuities, so there is are separate lists for the Canon appearances and their Legends counterparts. As for characters (for example 6/298) only listed in Legends and not Canon, this is because there has yet to be a Canon source to identify them, so they are just listed in Legends. Rsand 30 (talk) 00:36, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
    • Thank you so much for such a quick response! If you don't mind, I'd like to make sure I understand what I think you are saying. Is it that these clones (or other characters) were not named in the movie, but then later identified in an official source that is specifically discussing the movie? I want to know if a distinction is being made between sources regarding specifically the movie (out of universe). If this is the case, then it'd be good to have these sources listed on the individuals' articles as well because currently, at least for a couple, the movie itself is listed as the source (e.g. my previous question for CRC-09/571). I appreciate the help. =) Red Heathen (talk) 00:47, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
      • Yes, so for example, 6/298 is not named in the film, however is identified in the Sith Rising expansion to the Star Wars Trading Card Game. Because that source is Legends, he is not listed in Canon appearances since he is just an unnamed clone in the Canon continuity. However some Legends articles have outdated sourcing and may not list non-movie sources that identify them. No clones are mentioned by name in the film, so any page that cites the film as identifying them are inaccurate. Rsand 30 (talk) 01:09, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
        • Then shouldn't the clone (or other character or object) be removed from this source and instead placed in the other source? Or at the very least, the other source needs to be noted in the character's article as "first identified"? At the moment, this seems to be an inaccurate way to handle this information, especially considering the fact that the way I am discussing is how most other pages that I've come across typically deal with this issue. This method does not conform with typical...methodology. You've been very helpful! Thank you. Red Heathen (talk) 01:22, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
          • In the example I was using, 6/298, does do this. The Behind the scenes section says "6/298 originally appeared in the 2002 film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, where he appeared as an unidentified clone trooper. In July 2002, Wizards of the Coast released an expansion for their Star Wars Trading Card Game called Sith Rising. In the expansion, a card by the name of "Clone Trooper 6/298" was released, which gave the previously unidentified clone a number." And the Sources section says he was first identified in the card. However you are right that any pages that do not note this should be updated. Rsand 30 (talk) 01:28, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
            • I understand that the example you are using does do this, but there are other examples when this does not happen. It is those that I am addressing, but I appreciate your patience and that you want to help me understand. Red Heathen (talk) 01:31, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
              • Then those pages are outdated and should be fixed accordingly. Rsand 30 (talk) 01:39, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
                • LOL Well, that was easy fix...except, I have no way to know what or who was referenced where. This is why I am saying there is an issue. Perhaps it is not such an easy fix. At least the problem has been brought up so if anyone looks on this Talk page, then they'll know. Red Heathen (talk) 01:44, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
                  • Yeah Legends pages having outdated sourcing has been an issue for a while with no easy fix. However feel free to tag these pages with {{Citation}} so someone who has the source can update it accordingly. Rsand 30 (talk) 01:49, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
                    • Oh! That is a brilliant idea! So simple, yet so elusive to my simple mind (I am making fun of myself and not being sarcastic toward you). Thanks again for your wonderful help. Red Heathen (talk) 02:56, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
