I know this is really cruddy, but I feel I helps those of us on the Standard system put metric measurements into perspective.--PhilCarr 19:10, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

• Thanks, I didn't know about the list of measurements, but it still doesn't put lenghts in perspective for Standard users.
• I don't see why any metric users would object. They think 1.72 meters and say yeah, he's a short bloake. I think hmmm, a meter is about 3 ft and 1.72 is about 2, so 2 x 3 is 6 ft. He's a little taller than average.--PhilCarr 20:29, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
