Spoilers Warnings[]

  • A bit of a spoilers warning to all, but if you read on http://roboemma.tumblr.com/ it mentioned Echo becomes a fifth member of the Batch and he survives after all. :)Colby James (talk) 22:07, April 18, 2015 (UTC)

Designation[]

Just as a heads up, though this isn't very significant and has very little impact on the page overall, Echo's number of CT-21-0408 may have been first listed in The Clone Wars Character Encyclopedia, but it was taken from the number on the thigh plate on Echo's training armor in "Clone Cadets," which is likely why Ultimate Star Wars has that one listed instead of CT-1409. Just a little tidbit/clarification for the Behind the Scenes section about where that number really came from. Like I said, nothing much. Bane7670 (talk) 18:12, June 17, 2015 (UTC)

  • Thanks! I'll look into adding this before I finish the page. Squishy Vic | message 04:52, June 18, 2015 (UTC)
    • I redid the BTS to reflect the info you gave me, thanks again for the insight! I haven't finished the article but I will soon. :) Squishy Vic | message 03:59, June 19, 2015 (UTC)

which image of echo after the bad batch story arc seem more logical. The legs and right arm seem correct because they are prosthetics but every image of him with his armor shows his left arm having a robo joint. Both images seem pretty official but I wanted some other opinions Unsigned comment by Madskillz793 (talk • contribs).

Joining the Bad Batch[]

Since Filoni has said that the unfinished episodes are canon storywise, should we add that Echo joins the Bad Batch on Kashyyyk as the Republic is there to help the wookiees against CIS backed Trandoshans? The latter storyinfo was told by Filoni at Celebration Anaheim 2015.--Tetsu Aero (talk) 22:08, April 8, 2016 (UTC)

Personality and traits section[]

The personality and traits section states that Echo is noticeably skinnier than his fellow soldiers. I'm guessing this information comes from the Legacy episodes, where Echo is seen shirtless after Rex released him from the capsule, as he has a lot less muscle tone than Rex, who is seen shirtless after he is taken in by Cut Lawquane.

If this is true, I feel like this lower muscle tone is likely not genetic, but rather a result of the Techno Union caring more about him being alive, and cognitively capable of feeding them Republic algorithms than they care about his well-being.

Template photo[]

What the hell is that photo? (AtlantisUchiha (talk) 12:02, July 28, 2018 (UTC))

  • It's from the unfinished Bad Batch arc which is still considered canon. Hopefully we'll be able to replace it with a nicer version once the new season of Clone Wars airs. Ayrehead02 (talk) 12:23, July 28, 2018 (UTC)

Ongoing Consensus Track for the Infobox[]

For those trying to change the infobox image between the original trailer image and the Sixth Scale figure image, please be aware we have an ongoing Consensus Track to decide which to use. It would be appreciated if we could refrain from changing it until a decision is made. DFaceG (talk) 19:32, 4 May 2021 (UTC)

Photo[]

What is that photo in his infobox? It doesn’t look anything like animated Echo. Unsigned comment by Master Coleman Fisto (talk • contribs).

Title[]

Given Echo and Tech's conversation about numbers in "Cut and Run", I just wanted to say that depending on what happens, we might want to move this page to his actual name by the end of the season if it's made clear he has stopped using his number. SilverSunbird (talk) 20:09, 7 May 2021 (UTC)

  • I agree. Furthermore, I don't know why Rex would be known as Rex instead of CT-7567 but not Echo. -- YakovChaimTzvi (talk) 22:20, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
  • I think all the arguments from Talk:Rex#Move the article to "Rex" apply equally well here. — YakovChaimTzvi (talk) 00:55, 17 June 2021 (UTC)
    • Might be worth holding off until the end of the season, who knows what will happen between now and then Lewisr (talk) 01:12, 17 June 2021 (UTC)
      • I've written up a CT proposal for when that happens, but I can definitely wait until August to drop it. SilverSunbird (talk) 01:14, 17 June 2021 (UTC)
        • Not sure a CT is too necessary in this case, as pointed out by the Rex example 'Rather, it is more appropriate to consider that he now falls under item 2 of the "Be precise when possible" section, which states that Whenever alternate names are used in canon, use the name under which the subject was known during the later time period. Since he has clearly shed the CT-7567 designation and goes exclusively by the name Rex in retired civilian life, that's how his Canon article should be named' the same logic would apply to Echo Lewisr (talk) 01:18, 17 June 2021 (UTC)
          • Well, it's to address all articles that might fall under this kind of thing, not just Echo's. You'll see it when I put it up in a few months. SilverSunbird (talk) 01:24, 17 June 2021 (UTC)

Lower torso?[]

The page as it currently stands states that Echo lost his lower torso in the explosion at the Citadel. However, visual evidence from TCW Season 7 does not appear to back this up. It is clear that he lost both of his legs above the knees. However, the way he looks in season seven suggests that's about it. It appears to me that the cybernetic implants the Techno Union put in that part of his body is leading people to assume that his lower torso and pelvis area is now completely cybernetic. He had sockets all the way up to the back of his head surrounded by some sort of mat, and no one assumed that was cybernetic at the time. I think we should remove this misconception. History[]

Can someone expand his history more than just add one sentence? Like being a main character and so?..
