Sy-O was an exogorth that lived a solitary life in[1] the "Big One"[2] asteroid within the Hoth asteroid belt. Sy-O was over one billion years old[1] by 3 ABY,[3] which was young for an exogorth. Sy-O attempted to capture the Millennium Falcon and its crew in order to make them a part of their internal ecosystem and meet the social standards of its kind by having a more diverse ecosystem.[1]
