The Surgical Corps was one of the seven smaller branches of the Galactic Empire's Imperial Military, working alongside the two primary branches: the Imperial Army and the Imperial Navy.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
In the current Star Wars canon, the Surgical Coprs was mentioned in the 2023 reference book Star Wars: Dawn of Rebellion: The Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo and Emily Shkoukani.[1] The Imperial Surgical Corps originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it appeared in the 2007 novel Death Star by Michael Reaves and Steve Perry.[2]
