The Star Wars Rebels chapter book series by Michael Kogge is comprised of four Star Wars young-reader chapter books, each focusing on a specific episodes from first season of the television series Star Wars Rebels. The titles in the series are Rise of the Rebels, Droids in Distress, Ezra's Duel with Danger, and Battle to the End.
Rise of the Rebels adapts the Star Wars Rebels prelude shorts "The Machine in the Ghost," "Art Attack," "Entanglement," and "Property of Ezra Bridger," with each short comprising one chapter in the book. Each chapter follows the adventures of key characters from the series. It was released on August 5, 2014.[1]
Droids in Distress focuses on events from the film Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion, as well as the season one episodes "Droids in Distress" and "Rise of the Old Masters." The book depicts Ezra Bridger first meeting the crew of the Ghost, then following their mission to Garel, and their first run-in with the Grand Inquisitor. It was published on November 18, 2014.[3]
Ezra's Duel with Danger summarizes the events of the Star Wars Rebels episodes "Empire Day," "Gathering Forces," and "Path of the Jedi," depicting Bridger's conflict over his parents, the Rescue of Tseebo, and Ezra receiving his Kyber crystal. It was released on March 17, 2015.[4]
Battle to the End adapts the final three episodes of Star Wars Rebels' first season, "Call to Action," "Rebel Resolve," and "Fire Across the Galaxy." It was published on June 9, 2015.[2]
