Squad 2 was a squad in the Galactic Republic's military during the Clone Wars, a galactic conflict fought between the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems.[1] Clone Captain Rex[2] once ordered the squad to pick its target in a confrontation against a large force of enemies.[1]

Squad 2 was first mentioned in the opening logos of the 2008 film Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Although the squad is only mentioned in audio, thus not showing which clone trooper mentions it, the film's subtitles revealed it was Captain Rex.[1]
