The songs of eons past were Mandalorian songs,^[1] written when the planet Mandalore was green and beautiful.^[3] They told of battles between Mandalore the Great, and an order of sorcerers called Jedi.^[1] They also foretold of the mythosaur, a gigantic creature that was considered extinct, rising up to herald a new age of Mandalore.^[2]
