Biology and appearance[]
The sentient species were distinguished by their oddly shaped masks, with the ability to open and close their jaw.[1]
In the galaxy[]
During the Imperial Era, one such member talked with a masked figure on the planet Ferrix as Bix Caleen walked past them.[2]
During the New Republic Era,[3] a member of the species was killed by the Mandalorian Din Djarin after he attempted to steal his jetpack in exchange for Din Grogu.[4] Another member, Gapgrin Dozito, was serving a 25-year sentence on Selnesh for shipjacking.[5]
In 34 ABY,[3] Scrapjaw Motito, a scavenger, was seen at Niima Outpost on the planet Jakku. Motito disturbed the fellow scavenger Rey, which made the bounty hunter Hoogenz laugh.[1]
