"…this manor has everything the palace has, being so defensible and with such a useful port, a perfect view of Theed. And its own power generators. Not to mention a shockingly decadent wine cellar."
―Abediah Viess to Cair San Tekka, about the San Tekka compound[1]

A wine cave was located within the San Tekka manor on the planet Naboo. During the High Republic Era, the cave stored crystal linflower liquor, among other beverages.[1] In 228 BBY,[2] Cair San Tekka—a member of the San Tekka clan—returned to the manor to act as a spoiled scion of his family, though he was secretly operating within the Nihil's Occlusion Zone to fight the marauders.[1]

When several Nihil apprehended him upon entering the residence, he resigned himself to suffering through a dinner with their Minister of Protection, General Abediah Viess, and having the family's attendant Ino'olo to go the wine cave and fetch some crystal linflower liquor for it. However, they instead forcefully ushered him away to meet with Viess, not intending to have a meal served. Viess explained to San Tekka why she had chosen to reside in the manor, mentioning its decadent wine cellar as an amenity.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

The San Tekka manor wine cave was mentioned in the 2024 novel Temptation of the Force, written by Tessa Gratton and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[3]
