Salbee was a female servant who worked for the crime lord Sarkin Enneb in his estate on the Core Worlds planet Corellia. Around 13 BBY, she helped Enneb's enslaved worker Qi'ra acquire her new uniform and gave her a tour of the criminal group's estate. After the crime lord punished Qi'ra by beating her for a mistake, Salbee brought her soapy water and a rag to clean the mess on the floor. When the enslaved worker left Enneb's service days afterward, she noticed Salbee taking up the heavy tray their employer had been forcing her to carry and felt no empathy for the servant.

Biography[]

The female servant Salbee was born^[2] around 31 BBY^[1] and worked for the crime lord Sarkin Enneb in his criminal group's estate on^[2] the Core Worlds^[4] planet Corellia during the Imperial Era. She became well acquainted with her employer's temper while working there and took time to learn her way around the estate. Following the scrumrat Qi'ra's enslavement to Enneb^[2] around 13 BBY,^[5] Salbee sent a requisition droid to acquire clothes for her to wear, amused when the other girl reacted in disgust to the options offered. The servant then led her on a brief tour of her new workplace, though Qi'ra found the rushed instructions given by the other girl unhelpful. When it was time for them to return to Enneb's audience chamber, Salbie led Qi'ra through a secret side door disguised as a wall panel to enter the room, leaving the latter with a tray carrying a heavy jug and a cup to balance before departing the room.^[2]

When Qi'ra eventually dropped the tray due to its weight, Enneb began beating her as punishment, causing her blood to mix with the beverage spilled on the floor. When Sarkin's secretary indicated he needed to attend to his next appointment, Salbee brought Qi'ra a bucket of soapy water and a rag to clean the mess. The servant then situated another tray and jug on her arm as the other girl cleaned—aided by a shoulder brace—which Qi'ra was jealous of. After Enneb's last petitioner, Salbee brought the former scrumrat to the kitchen for her to clean dishes until dismissed.^[2]

For the next few days, Enneb repeated the same cycle of events with Qi'ra by waiting for her to drop the tray and then beating her at some point later in the day. However, when the Crimson Dawn syndicate's operative Corynna decided to purchase Qi'ra from the crime lord not long afterward, he reluctantly let her leave. As Qi'ra left Enneb's audience chamber, she noticed Salbee picking up a tray for her employer and quickly put the other girl out of her mind, noting that she had no sympathy for the servant.^[2]

Personality and traits[]

Salbee was taller than 1.58 meters,^[3] and Qi'ra felt the servant looked well-fed in appearance by the time they met. The servant found Qi'ra's dislike of Enneb's clothing choices initially amusing but quickly adopted a sobered demeanor after remembering that the latter was enslaved. Qi'ra initially resented Salbee, and despite later gaining an appreciation for the servant's attempts to help her, the former scrumrat was not willing to help her escape Enneb's employment.^[2]

While working for Sarkin Enneb, Salbee wore a utilitarian uniform that consisted of a billowy gray shirt with a brown vest on top and brown pants that she tucked into the tops of her boots. She used a shoulder brace to make carrying a tray for the crime lord easier due to the weight of the jug balanced on it.^[2]
