- "Now boarding star commuter shuttle ST-45, bound for Garel."
- ―Lothal spaceport dispatcher
ST-45 was a Star Commuter 2000 transport shuttle that ferried passengers between the neighboring Outer Rim planets of Lothal and Garel. The shuttle was piloted by RX-24, a RX-Series pilot droid. The rebels who operated on Lothal traveled from Lothal to Garel aboard the shuttle during their mission to steal T-7 ion disruptor rifles from the Galactic Empire.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
ST-45 appeared in "Droids in Distress," the first regular series episode of the animated television series Star Wars Rebels.[2] The shuttle was based on the original incarnation of Star Tours, a Disney theme park attraction. In Star Tours, RX-24 is depicted as the pilot of Star Tours Flight 45 (ST-45), onboard a StarSpeeder 3000 spacecraft.[3] For "Droids in Distress," the shuttle was designed by series artists Pat Presley and Jim Moore.[4]
