Rocket boots, also known as hover boots or jet boots,[3] were a form of rocket propulsion system affixed to a pair of boots instead of being worn on the back like a standard jetpack. Cad Bane, a bounty hunter in operation during the Clone Wars, owned a pair of rocket boots equipped with Mitrinomon jetpack thrusters and made use of them on many occasions. Chanath Cha owned a pair of rocket boots during her bounty hunting career; these boots had thrusters integrated directly into the boot's calf, had impressive range and speed, and were capable of operating underwater and in space.[4]
