"We've never been to Raxus before."
"The coordinates from Cid have us landing outside the capital city of Raxulon, the home of their Senate."
―"Wrecker" and "Tech"[3]

Raxulon was the capital city of Raxus Secundus,[1] an Outer Rim world[4] that served as the capital of the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. The Separatist Senate Building was located in Raxulon. As the Galactic Senate discussed the Republic military enhancement bill, Senator Padmé Amidala and Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano visited Raxulon to discuss peace talks with Amidala's friend and Separatist Senator Mina Bonteri.[2] During the war, the city was thriving and had B1-series battle droids guarding the landing platforms.[5]
