The Ransacker was a Nihil Stormship utilized by the Jedi Order during an attempted infiltration of the pirate group. The starship had been acquired by the Jedi after the attack on the Nihil base on Grizal. When Marshal Avar Kriss came up with the idea of an undercover operation, the Ransacker was given to Jedi Knights Keeve Trennis and Terec, who were assigned the mission. Posing as a Storm from Pan Eyta's Tempest, Trennis commanded the Ransacker during a staged skirmish in the Soola system, attacking Jedi Wayseeker Orla Jareni's ship Lightseeker before sending a distress signal to the Nihil. Forces from Zeetar's Tempest arrived and rescued the Ransacker from the Jedi cruiser Ataraxia and its starfighter complement, sending Trennis and Terec off on their mission.[1]
