Quartzlight was a delicate substance that could be woven into hair in string form. While in the San Tekka compound on the planet Naboo[1] in 228 BBY,[2] the San Tekka family attendant Ino'olo wore slender quartzlight strings in her elaborate hairstyle. Upon seeing Ino'olo in a hallway, a member of the family—Cair San Tekka—touched one of the strands, mentally reflecting that he had never adopted his family's affluent style while on Naboo in the past.[1]

Quartzlight appeared in the 2024 novel Temptation of the Force, written by Tessa Gratton and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[3]
