Ollie was the pet ollopom of the Ithorian collector Dok-Ondar. Kept in a small tank with water[1] and pom petal plants[2] in his antiquities shop, Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities, on the Outer Rim planet Batuu, Ondar received the rodent[1] by the year 34 ABY[3] as a gift from the pirate Hondo Ohnaka, who found it in unmarked cargo. As an ollopom, Ollie had hazel eyes,[1] green fur,[2] and yellow and pink skin with purple spots.[1]

The Amani female Bina, proprietor of the local Creature Stall in Black Spire Outpost on Batuu, included Ollie in her interactive book, Bina's Guide to the Creatures of Batuu.[4] Historian Eloc Throno also included a mention and picture of Ollie in his book Traveler's Guide to Batuu,[5] which he wrote in 34 ABY.[6]

Behind the scenes[]

Ollie first appeared as a prop in Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities, a retail location in the themed land Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge,[7] which first opened on May 31, 2019, at Disneyland Park. The rodent was first mentioned, though unnamed, in the D23 article "Creatures, Droids, and Aliens: Meet the Fantastical Figures of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge," published on May 29, 2019.[8]

Star Wars: Timelines dates both the establishment of the Batuu Resistance base and its eventual relocation to Ajan Kloss to 34 ABY. Therefore, the in-universe guide must have been authored that year.
