The observation droid was a model of probe droid manufactured by Arakyd Industries.^[1] It was utilized by a multitude of factions during the Clone Wars, including the Galactic Republic,^[2] the Pyke Syndicate,^[4] and the Zygerrian Slave Empire.^[3] A sentry droid model used by the Galactic Empire was visually similar^[5] to the observation droid.^[2]
