A spaceport was located in the dual-level city of Mos Espa on the Outer Rim desert planet Tatooine. It was located on the upper level of the city next to the upper sprawl. Both passenger and cargo ships arrived and departed from there. Following the death of Jabba Desilijic Tiure, his majordomo Bib Fortuna assumed the title of Daimyo and took control of Jabba's criminal empire. To maintain control, Fortuna divided Mos Espa into three families, with the Klatooinian family controlling the upper sprawl and spaceport.^[1]
