- "It has a good essence of moonberry. Not too acidic. I like my wines smooth."
- ―Axel Greylark on a wine
Moonberries were a type of berry that could be eaten by humans.[1] In 382 BBY,[2] the human Axel Greylark remarked that a wine he was tasting on the planet Dalna had a good essence of moonberry, though in reality he found it to be average-tasting.[1] Moonberries could also be used to make a pale pink juice,[3] which the club the Uzzu sold on the planet Coruscant.[4] In 230 BBY,[5] the Jedi Padawan Amadeo Azzazzo ordered some of the juice while in the Uzzu.[4] In 228 BBY,[6] the Nihil Minister of Information Ghirra Starros drank a glass of moonberry juice while in her cruiser, the Pearl of Faretta, above the planet Hosnian Prime.[3]
