Micah was a Force-sensitive human who was hunted by the Galactic Empire. During the Imperial Era, Micah and the children of a village were tested by the Galactic Empire. When the tests revealed clues to Micah's Force sensitivity, the Empire wanted to take him away. Thus, mother and father fled the village, meeting a traveler who told them to find the healer Barriss Offee. Offee told them about how the Jedi used to train children with potential like Micah; however, those same talents were but now a curse. As the Fourth Sister approached, Offee told her Mohsenian and human assistants to escort Micah and his parents to her ship and escape the system. She told them a friend would meet them at their rendezvous.[1]
