Marsh ponies were a type of pony.[1] In 228 BBY,[2] while unloading supplies on the Republic Defense Coalition mobile launch and repair station, Jordanna Sparkburn thought about how her girlfriend, Sylvestri Yarrow, would someday like to buy land on a prairie moon and herd marsh ponies. Her vollka, Remy, loved herding vegetarians like marsh ponies.[1]

Marsh ponies were mentioned in the young-adult novel The High Republic: Defy the Storm, written by Tessa Gratton and Justina Ireland and published in 2024 as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[3]
