Maher was an astronomical object situated in the Unknown Regions within grid square G-7 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] It was orbited by the Garbage Moon of Maher.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
Maher was first mentioned in the name of the Garbage Moon of Maher in the comic one-shot issue Age of Resistance - Finn 1. The comic was written by Tom Taylor and published by Marvel Comics[2] on July 3, 2019.[3] Maher was then established as a distinct astronomical object in a galaxy map[1] created for the reference book Star Wars: Timelines and given out as a promotional poster at Celebration Anaheim[4] on May 27, 2022[5] prior to the book's release during Celebration Europe[6] of April 7 through 10, 2023.[7]
