The Garbage Moon of Maher was a terrestrial moon used as a dumping ground for garbage and junk. The First Order regularly sent freighters of junk to the moon. When the stormtrooper FN-2187 was assigned to escort one such freighter, he smuggled several creatures native to Starkiller Base who had been displaced by the base's construction.^[1]
