The Little Mynock Airscooter, abbreviated as LMA, was a model of toy speeder produced by the Mekuun Corporation's Leisure and Recreation division. It rivaled the company's civilian vehicles in popularity and was used as many children's first repulsorcraft and even by some law enforcement agencies among species of smaller stature. In 34 ABY, the Toydarian Toymaker toy shop in Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu had a Little Mynock Airscooter on display in the "Classic Boles Roor" color scheme of green and orange.

The Little Mynock Airscooter, abbreviated as LMA, was a model of toy speeder that was simple, reliable, and easy to modify for greater speeds. It shared its name with the mynock,[1] a type of winged parasite.[3] The vehicle consisted of a thin central chassis with plates over and under the rear that widened the back of the vehicle beneath the pilot's seat.[2]
A grill connected the ends of the two plates on each side and piping ran from between the plates under the chassis. A single engine emerged from the back of the chassis between the plates with a large curved plate projecting above it and a smaller curved plate projecting below.[2]
Several components were attached beneath the chassis, including the mount for the vehicle's four steering vanes, which hung under the front of the chassis and extended forward to place the vanes in front of the vehicle. The airscooter's handlebars rose above the front of the chassis and had a protective plate in front of them and a small screen beneath.[2] The charge stand for the vehicle, as well as the pilot helmet, were sold separately.[1]

The Little Mynock Airscooter was manufactured by the Leisure and Recreation division of Mekuun Corporation, a company usually known for its production of heavy repulsorlift vehicles. Surprisingly, it rivaled the company's civilian models in popularity as it was chosen by many parents around the galaxy as their child's first repulsorcraft. The vehicle was even used by law enforcement agencies on some worlds inhabited by species of smaller stature.[1]
In 34 ABY,[4] the Toydarian Toymaker toy shop in Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu had a Little Mynock Airscooter displayed in the middle space of a rack of toy speeders on its outside wall in the outpost's marketplace.[2] The airscooter that the store had on display was in fairly good condition despite being old and was customized with the "Classic Boles Roor" paint job, which consisted of green plates with orange detailing, matching the colors of the vehicle used by the Sneevel podracer Boles Roor[1] during the Boonta Eve Classic podrace[5] in 32 BBY.[6] The toy vehicle also had "LMA" written in white Aurebesh characters on the right hand side of the chassis and a white emblem emblazoned on the panel in front of the handlebars.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
The Little Mynock Airscooter first appeared as a prop within the themed land Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge,[2] which opened to guests at Disneyland Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios in 2019.[7]
