Leisure and Recreation was a division of the Mekuun Corporation, the existence of which surprised some as Mekuun was primarily known for producing heavy repulsorlift vehicles.[1] By 34 ABY,[2] The division produced the Little Mynock Airscooter toy speeder, which surprisingly rivaled the popularity of Mekuun's civilian models as parents across the galaxy chose it as their youngling's first repulsorcraft.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The Leisure and Recreation division of Mekuun Corporation was created as part of the backstory[1] for the themed land Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge,[3] which opened to guests at Disneyland Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios in 2019.[4]
