A leech vessel was a type of starship that could be used to board another by cutting straight through its hull.[1] Around 18 BBY,[2] Echo, Fireball, and Nemec utilized one such craft, the Remora-one, during their attack on the prisoner transport ship on Balmorra in order to board a Gozanti-class cruiser and extract a trio of clones detained by the Galactic Empire.[1]
