Lattice-bean cakes were a type of cake. During the Nihil marauders' occupation of the Outer Rim planet Valo[1] in 229 BBY,[2] Jedi Padawan Ram Jomaram reflected that his Jedi Master, Kunpar Vasivola, often smelled like the cakes due to the latter hiding from the Nihil by posing as a harmless, elderly caretaker of the Valo Temple.[1]
