The LEGO Star Wars Character Encyclopedia is a book that was released on September 19, 2011. This book was written by Hannah Dolan (with Elizabeth Dowsett, Shari Last, and Victoria Taylor) and published by DK Publishing.

It features over three hundred LEGO Star Wars minifigure descriptions. The book separates the minifigures into eight chapters; six for each of the movies, one for the Clone Wars and one for Expended Universe. The book features data boxes which which includes "the minifigure's most recent set number and name, the year the set was released, the number of LEGO pieces from which the minifigure is made, any equipment or weapons it carries, and its number of variants".^[3]

The book comes with an exclusive minifigure, which was revealed to be Han Solo (based on his appearance at the medal ceremony in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope).
