Kira Vantala, according to legend, was a dark-skinned female Jedi who wielded a bright blue lightsaber. During the Imperial Era, she travelled to an orphanage on the planet Gaaten after hearing of Force-sensitive children being taken by a phantom. One evening after her arrival, Vantala, along with the refugee Elish, defeated the phantom and ensured he'd never return to the orphanage.[1]
