Kashyyyk was the star of the Kashyyyk system[3] located within the Mytaranor sector, part of the regions known as the Mid Rim Territories[1] and the Slice.[2] The star was orbited by the planets Kashyyyk,[3] Alaris and its moon of Alaris Prime,[6] and Trandosha and its moon of Wasskah.[7] Located in grid square P-9 on the Standard Galactic Grid,[4] Kashyyyk was situated along the Durkteel Loop, Great Kashyyyk Branch, Nightroad, and Randon Run hyperspace routes.[5]
