Kara Shuba was a failed Jedi who survived the Great Jedi Purge. Surviving by hiding in the shadows of the Ord Mynock Freeport, Shuba cultivated a personality as an annoying and insane old woman to divert attention from herself. Shuba traded information for food with Drew Lokii, the Rebel leader in the city and head of the Freeport Security Force.
