This article covers a subject from a Star Wars: Visions story that Lucasfilm declared is set in an alternate history within a reimagined galaxy.

"I call on the Jedi hidden across the galaxy. My name is Juro. I am the ruler of Hy Izlan, located in the Outer Rim, and I am seeking to restore the Jedi Order."
―Juro[1]

Margrave Juro was a human male Jedi Master[2] who ruled the Outer Rim Territories planet Hy Izlan.[1]

Biography[]

Searching for other Jedi[]

During the era of war,[1] Margrave Juro sought out to revive the Jedi Order after it had been absent for a long time.[3] Juro sent out a message summoning masterless Jedi to Hy Izlan, where he hoped to supply them with lightsabers crafted by the legendary sabersmith Lah Zhima. However, Juro became aware that Sith were beginning to take out the Jedi he had contacted and came disguised in their place.[1]

Thus, he remained hidden inside of a droid suit until his enemies revealed themselves when Lah Zhima's daughter, Lah Kara, finally delivered the lightsabers. Together with Kara and Ethan, Juro dueled and slew five of the other six warriors, save for Homen, who he appealed to and guided back to the light.[1]

Personality and traits[]

Margrave Juro was a human male who was one of the last few Jedi Masters. His scarred face is the result of the many wars Juro had participated in.[2]

Powers and abilities[]

Juro using the Force

Juro was powerful in the Force to block Force lightning with his bare hands.

Due to his training as a Jedi, Juro is powerful enough to block blaster fire with his hand, as well as Force lightning for a period of time.[2] He is also strong enough to disarm an opponent of his lightsaber using only the Force. He is also a very skilled swordman, capable of dueling and slaying multiple Sith at once.[1]
