The Imperial kepi,[1] also known as a command cap[2] or officer's cap,[3] was a type of gaberwool hat worn as part of the uniform of various personnel within the Galactic Empire's Imperial Military, including many officers of the Officer Corps. The cap was either black or olive-gray in color depending on the role of the wearer, with Imperial Army and Navy officers wearing olive-gray hats, while members of Imperial Intelligence or the Stormtrooper Corps wore black.[1] The hats each featured an officer's disk on the front.[2]
