- "…it's very old. At least a hundred years or so. I believe I may have borrowed it from the Ifnar temple when we started building ours. Perhaps I'll get it back to them someday."
- ―Kunpar Vasivola, to Ram Jomaram, about a ladder
The Ifnar temple was a Jedi temple of the Jedi Order that operated by the time of the High Republic Era. While in the Jedi temple on the Outer Rim planet Valo[1] in 229 BBY,[2] Padawan Ram Jomaram was surprised when his elderly Jedi Master—Kunpar Vasivola—joined him in the temple's attic. The Master indicated that he had ascended on an old ladder—which was at least a century old—reflecting that he may have borrowed it from the Ifnar temple and hoped to return it to them.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The Ifnar temple was mentioned in Escape from Valo, a 2024 junior novel written by Daniel José Older and Alyssa Wong as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[3]
