The IQA-11 Blaster Rifle was a model of sniper rifle with a sleek and inexpensive design that made it a weapon of choice for mercenaries and bounty hunters who sought reliability over longer ranges. The rifle could receive modifications, such as an extended barrel and a dual zoom scope. During the Clone Wars, the bounty hunter Rumi Paramita used an IQA-11 while defending Felucian farmers from the Ohnaka Gang. A Mon Calamari also utilized the weapon during the Imperial Era.
Description[]
The IQA-11 Blaster Rifle[3] was a model of sniper rifle that fired blue blaster bolts over long ranges. It was dark-green in color and featured a long barrel and a scope for magnification. Along with a trigger guard, the IQA-11 had cooling vents that were housed around the barrel. The sniper rifle could also be modified with a dual zoom scope to toggle between magnification levels, an extended barrel for increased projectile speed, and a power cell attached to the side of the weapon for more efficient weapon cooling.[1]

A Mon Calamari equipped with an IQA-11
Due to the IQA-11's sleek and inexpensive design, it became the weapon of choice of bounty hunters and mercenaries who sought reliability over longer ranges.[1] During the Clone Wars, the Frenk bounty hunter Rumi Paramita was equipped with an IQA-11. While on[2] the planet[4] Felucia[2] in 21 BBY,[5] Paramita used her rifle to hold the Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano at gunpoint at the Felucian village[2] of Akira.[6] She later used it to defend the Felucian farmers in the village against Ohnaka Gang pirates, before she was ultimately killed by a blast from a WLO-5 battle tank.[2]
At some point during the reign of the Galactic Empire, a Mon Calamari utilized the scope on an IQA-11[3] to observe a group of Imperials and their captives.[7]

IQA-11 concept art for Star Wars Battlefront II by Sebastian Kim
The IQA-11 Blaster Rifle first appeared in "Bounty Hunters,"[2] the seventeenth episode in Season Two of the animated television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which aired on April 2, 2010.[8] It was identified by name in the new Star Wars canon on the eponymous card of Awakenings, a booster pack for the Star Wars: Destiny card game released by Fantasy Flight Games in 2016.[3] The name originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where the weapon was identified in Star Wars: The Clone Wars Character Encyclopedia, a 2010 visual guide authored by Jason Fry.[9] Concept art of the weapon was drawn by David Le Merrer.[10]
In the 2017 video game Star Wars Battlefront II, the IQA-11 is unlockable after defeating fifty enemies as the Specialist class, and it is available to all factions. The IQA-11's modifications consisted of a dual zoom scope, an extended barrel to increase projectile speed, and a power cell to reduce cooldown. The player can only equip two of these attachments simultaneously.[1] Artist Sebastian Kim designed the weapon and its modifications for the game.[11]
