Hunters of the Outer Rim was a competition hosted within the Grand Arena on the planet Vespaara that saw various warriors from across the galaxy engage in combat. Contestants fought in teams to earn both fortune and glory while cheered on by enthusiastic audiences. During the New Republic Era, the tournament hosted a revolving cast of several individuals, including the dark side warrior Rieve and the Mandalorian stalwart Aran Tal, as "hunters."^[1] Tal joined the competition in 9 ABY,^[2] while Rieve joined around that same year.^[3]
