Hiro was a Hutt male who was the son of the crime lord Ziro Desilijic Tiure and first cousin of crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure. He hosted "The Hutt Hour," a talk show played on radio station BSO 401.72 in Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu during the war between the First Order and the Resistance.[1]
By that time, many residents on Batuu believed a rumor that Hiro was the reason that Kowakian monkey-lizards were banned from Oga's Cantina, including the Batuuan Ylena.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
Hiro was first created for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, which opened to guests at Disneyland on May 31, 2019. The character was inspired by Ziro's appearances in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.[1] He is voiced by Walt Disney Imagineer, Cory Rouse.
