"Because people are starting to think about the way we've done things, and the way we might do things. We're going to visit a few other settlements near here, talk to them about how we've been living. Not sure we'd have seen it if you two hadn't come around. Be well, Jedi."
―Hennah, to Loden Greatstorm and Bell Zettifar[1]

Hennah was a Terionese woman who worked as a teacher in the Strop's End settlement's school on the planet Teriona and lived on the world with her wife. Between around 234 BBY and 232 BBY, she met Jedi Master Loden Greatstorm and his Padawan, Bell Zettifar, during their mission to Teriona. Impressed by the peace the Jedi brought, she and other Terionese brought the pair gifts before departing to tell other settlements on the planet about a less violent way of life.

Biography[]

"Got some nice cheeses in there, a few good bottles of this and that from the tavern, and Sveen baked you three or four nice loaves. My wife put in some orberries from the bushes out back of our place."
―Hennah, to Loden Greatstorm and Bell Zettifar[1]

Hennah became acquainted with Loden Greatstorm and Bell Zettifar during the Jedi's mission to Teriona.

The Terionese woman Hennah hailed from the planet Teriona and lived in a residence on the world with her wife. She worked as a teacher in the school of the small settlement Strop's End. By the time of the High Republic Era, all of Teriona's locals were well-accustomed to war, as local skirmishes and battles were a constant within their culture.[1] Between around 234 BBY and 232 BBY,[2] Hennah became closely acquainted with Jedi Master Loden Greatstorm and his Padawan, Bell Zettifar, during their mission to the world. She and other residents of Strop's End were initially wary of the offworlders and tried to attack them. However, the Terionese eventually became grateful for the peaceful demeanor of the Jedi and the help the pair had offered the locals on several occasions.[1]

Hennah and the others in Strop's End resolved to speak with nearby settlements about their newfound way of life, which had been free from major conflicts since the Jedi's arrival. She led five other Terionese—including the man Argeel—to bring gift baskets of local delicacies for Greatstorm and Zettifar to enjoy, including some orberries gathered by Hennah's wife. Greatstorm greeted the locals and assumed they would ask for a favor in return for the supplies, asking Zettifar for his shoveling shoes. However, Hennah informed him that the baskets were a gift freely given before their journey to visit others on Teriona to promote a way of life without violence. The woman shook the Jedi Master's hand before leaving with her colleagues, and the Jedi departed the planet shortly after.[1]

Personality and traits[]

"Hullo, Jedi."
"Hennah. Beautiful day for a hike."
―Hennah and Loden Greatstorm[1]

As Terionese natives, she and her wife were well-accustomed to violence and reprisals being part of everyday life. Hennah eventually came to enjoy the peace the Jedi brought to Teriona and warmly greeted Greatstorm when she brought him and his Padawan gifts.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

Hennah appeared in a flashback in the short story "All Jedi Walk Their Own Path," written by Charles Soule and published in the 2023 young-adult anthology The High Republic: Tales of Light and Life as a part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project.[1]
