The Gungan Sentry Post was a sentry tower located in one of the plains of the[2] Mid Rim Territories[3] planet Naboo. It consisted of the head of a statue[2] of the ancient Elders of Naboo.[4] In 32 BBY,[5] in anticipation for the Invasion of Naboo by the Trade Federation, the alliance between the native Gungans, Naboo people, and the Jedi Order was stationed around the Gungan Sentry Post. One militiagung of the Gungan Grand Army used a farseein to scout out the incoming invasion force, and upon gaining view of the Trade Federation Droid Army, the Gungan notified the young boy Anakin Skywalker. Skywalker in turn notified the Royal Naboo Security Forces, and the group then began devising their battle plan.[2]

The Gungan Sentry Post first appeared in the 1999 prequel trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace.[2] It was first identified in 2016 by the mobile app Star Wars: Card Trader.[1]
