Group delta was a New Republic Defense Fleet group that served in the Galactic Civil War between the New Republic and the Galactic Empire. The group served in the final battle, the Battle of Jakku, where Barma Battle Group General Hera Syndulla ordered the bridge crew of her flagship, the Star Destroyer Deliverance, to position the vessel below group delta early in their participation of the battle and to monitor sensor readings for the Imperial bulk freighter Yadeez.[1]
