Gradd was a human male pilot who served as a commander in the naval forces of the Galactic Empire. Late in the Galactic Civil War, he was assigned to the Devastator, one of the most prestigious Imperial-class Star Destroyers in the Imperial fleet under the command of Admiral Jhared Montferrat.^[1]
