Gamodar was an elderly Ortolan male shopkeeper. He lived in an apartment above his shop on Bar'leth, with several pet tookas. Prior to the First Battle of Geonosis, Gamodar often acquired Jedi and Sith relics, which he traded to Jedi Master Sember Vey.[1]
After the rise of the Galactic Empire, Iskat Akaris and the Grand Inquisitor visited Gamodar to take the artifacts he had, claiming that they now belonged to the Inquisitorius. Gamodar, not believing the Jedi were traitors, turned his security droid Lump on them and attempted to take refuge in his basement storeroom with the safe holding the artifacts.[1]
Akaris easily disposed of the droid and attempted once more to convince Gamodar to give up the relics for the chance to walk away with his life. He refused and leaned against the storeroom door, beginning to reason with her against her current path. However she quickly used the opportunity to stab him through the door with her lightsabers, regretting his obstinacy. Akaris then took the contents of the safe and turned them over to the Grand Inquisitor, who, satisfied with her passage of his test, completed her induction into the Inquisitorius.[1]
