"That's Felucia, dead ahead."
"But where's the medical station? I don't see anything on my scanners."
―Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano[3]

The Felucia Medical Station HCTFF2 was a Haven-class medical station that served as a medcenter for the Galactic Republic and was assigned to the 12th Sector Army during the Clone Wars. In 21 BBY, the space station, situated in orbit of the planet Felucia, was destroyed by a Separatist Alliance naval force. In response to the attack, the Republic dispatched Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, as well as Skywalker's Padawan, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, to confirm the station's destruction.

Description[]

As a Haven-class medical station, constructed and remodified by VenteX Construction Yards[1] as a medcenter for the Galactic Republic, the Felucia Medical Station HCTFF2[3] spanned 651.48 meters.[4] Equipped with several bacta tanks, the station was capable of carrying and revitalizing[6] at least 60,000 wounded clone troopers,[5] while also carrying supplies for emergencies. Situated in the Thanium sector[6] of both the Outer Rim Territories,[3] and Slice regions,[7] the station was located in orbit of the planet Felucia in its eponymous star system,[3] at grid square R-6 on the Standard Galactic Grid.[8]

History[]

"I guess we know what happened to the medical station."
―Obi-Wan Kenobi, as the Jedi shuttle comes under attack by Separatist vulture droids[3]

At some point, the Felucia Medical Station HCTFF2 was constructed by VenteX Construction Yards[1] for usage as a medical station by the Galactic Republic, during the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Established sometime later, above the planet Felucia, which had become heavily contested by the conflict due to its strategic proximity to the Perlemian Trade Route,[11] a major super-hyperroute.[12] Alongside several other Haven-class medical stations, the medical station was utilized by the Republic Military's Sector Armies,[13] being assigned[11] to the 12th Sector Army,[9] whose military campaign against the Confederacy had enveloped Felucia.[11]

Later, in 21 BBY,[10] sometime after the Republic's defeat on Felucia by the Separatists,[3] the Confederacy targeted the medical station. Attacking and destroying it with a naval force, consisting of a lone Providence-class Dreadnought accompanied by two Munificent-class star frigates, the Separatists then proceeded to position an automated deployment station for Vulture-class droid starfighters in Felucia's orbit. Afterward, hearing of the medical station's disappearance, the Republic dispatched Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, as well as Skywalker's Padawan, Jedi Commander Ahsoka Tano, to investigate. The space station was confirmed to have been destroyed when Tano was unable to detect it on the scanners of the Jedi's T-6 shuttle.[3]

While investigating, the Jedi trio discovered the deployment station and crashed on Felucia's surface as their shuttle was shot down by vulture droids. Afterward, the trioβ€”despite their need to report the station's destruction to the Republicβ€”became involved in a skirmish on the planet's surface against the pirate Hondo Ohnaka and his gang. The Jedi were later able to return to the Republic, reporting their discoveries to the government.[3]

Commanders and crew[]

The Felucia Medical Station HCTFF2 was operated by a small crew of clone troopers who oversaw the space station's operations.[6]

Behind the scenes[]

The Felucia Medical Station HCTFF2 was introduced in the opening newsreel of "Bounty Hunters,"[3] the seventeenth episode of the second season of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series, which aired on April 2, 2010.[14] It was later identified in Collapse of the Republic, a 2019 supplement to Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars Roleplaying product series.[6]
