"Faraday Spirits, now shipping all over the galaxy."
―Faraday Spirits' slogan[1]

Faraday Spirits was a beverage distribution company operated by the Faraday family. The Chandrilan Lady Lu-reen Faraday was an heiress of the company by 382 BBY. At some point, a shipment of Chandrilan whiskey of the company's befell a shipping accident, resulting in not many bottles of the beverage surviving.

Upon first meeting Axel Greylark—the son of the Republic Supreme Chancellor Kyong Greylark—she introduced herself with Faraday Spirits' slogan, and the pair became romantically involved. However, when they later broke up in 382 BBY, Axel took Faraday's gift of some Chandrilan whiskey and drank it in a gambling den, briefly thinking about her and how she had first introduced herself.

Description[]

Faraday Spirits was a beverage distribution company that shipped galaxy-wide.[1]

History[]

Raik: "If anyone wants you dead, it's that heiress. What's her name?"
A Mirialan patron: "Lady Lulu Faradaisy? Something ridiculous like that."
Axel Greylark: "Lady Lu-reen Faraday. And don't believe everything you watch in the holos."
―Raik, the Mirialan, and Axel Greylark discussing Greylark's breakup with Lu-reen Faraday, the company's heiress[1]

Axel Greylark (pictured) was romantically involved with Lu-reen Faraday—an heiress of Faraday Spirits—for some time.

During the High Republic Era, the Chandrilan Lady Lu-reen Faraday—the daughter of a Republic senator—was an heiress of her family's company, and the organization bore her family name. At some point, Faraday met Axel Greylark—the son of the Republic Supreme Chancellor Kyong Greylark—and introduced herself with the Faraday Spirits' slogan. The pair eventually became romantically involved.[1]

One time, the company transported a shipment of Chandrilan whiskey, but an accident in transit resulted in much of the batch being destroyed, with only three hundred bottles left[1] by 382 BBY. That year,[2] Faraday gifted a bottle of the now-rare whiskey—which was worth a thousand credits a bottle—to Axel during a visit. However, he broke up with her shortly afterward and drank the beverage from his flask while in the gambling den Raik's Parlor on[1] the Core Worlds planet[3] Coruscant, attempting to avoid the news holos reporting about their breakup. As Axel conversed with others about the drink in his flask, he thought about his former paramour and her relation to Faraday Spirits, including how Faraday had first introduced herself using the company's slogan, followed by her father's title of senator.[1]

Behind the scenes[]
